Dr. Yanxiao Si works at the Petroleum Exploration and Production Research Institute, SINOPEC, and engaged in research on green resource treatment of produced water from oil and gas fields. She leads projects under the National Key R&D Program and SINOPEC scientific research programs. She has published 30 SCI/EI papers, with one study featured on the cover of Environmental Science & Technology Letters, a top journal in environmental science. She has applied for 26 domestic and international invention patents. Recipient of the Second Prize for Technological Invention and the Outstanding Principal Investigator of Outstanding Youth Program awarded by the Petroleum Exploration and Production Research Institute (SINOPEC). She was selected for the Young Talent Support Program of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) in 2024.
